Gearbox Services

Scots Bearings offers specialist gearbox services to customers in Scotland. We have a specialist Electric Motor and Gearbox Centre based in Cumbernauld near Glasgow. Here our fully trained and skilled team are able to offer customers a number of services including:

• Same day delivery on standard and non-standard gearboxes.
• An in-house repair service for small and large jobs.
• A full technical service, to identify the root cause of production problems.
• On site services, including repair services and condition monitoring services.

Same day delivery on gearboxes

At Scots Bearings our Electric Motor and Gearbox Centre is the largest stockist of gearboxes in Scotland. For this reason, we are able to provide same day delivery on both standard and non-standard gearboxes.
Our wide range of stock includes:

• Radicon In-Line Helical (M) & Right-Angle Helical Bevel (K) Series.
• Gearboxes up to size 8 (22Kw) to suit a variety of ratios.
• Motovario Worm Gearboxes up to 15Kw to suit a variety of ratios.
• Motovario Variators
• Dodge Shaft Mount Speed Reducers up to size H in 5, 15 & 25:1 Ratios

Our in-house repair service

At our centre near Glasgow, our engineers can provide services including repairs, overhauls and upgrades. Our team are trained to handle everything from the smallest of changes such as bearing and oil seal changes to the largest of changes, for example providing new shafts and replacement gear sets.

We currently have a unique partnership with gearbox manufacturer Radicon, which allows us to provide serve and repair solutions to customers across Scotland. Our team is equipped to offer solutions for any brand or type of industrial gearbox up to 15 tonnes. We also offer a 12 month ‘as new warranty’ with our service repairs.

With the help of our partner, Radicon, our team is available 24/7 to provide support to customers locally.

On site services and analysis

As well as in-house repairs, our team can also offer on-site services. We provide a range of services from a full application review to ensure you have the optimum product for your requirements, through to on-site repair and condition monitoring services to minimise downtime.

We can also offer technical analysis to assess the root cause of issues, as well as assistance with asset management. Currently, our Electric Motor and Gearbox Centre is the largest stockist of such products in Scotland, which is why our customers choose to return time and time again.
