Metal Working Oils
Petro-Canada’s Metal Working Oils perform over a wide range of metal working operations. They are available in two distinct families:
- Soluble Cutting Oils — CUTSOL™ / CUTSOL HD
- Neat Cutting Oils — TRANSICUT™ and SUPERCUT™
Petro-Canada’s cutting oils reduce friction at or near the tool tip, where the highest temperatures occur and between the moving tip and the rake face of the cutting tool.
Proper Lubrication reduces friction results in;
- fewer coolant requirements
- less cutting energy
- reduced cutting tool wear
- improved surface finishes
Options available via Scots Bearings Ltd;
- ALUCUT™ — Neat Cutting Oil for machining aluminium and magnesium alloys
- ALUDRAW™ — Wire Drawing Oil for drawing aluminium wire, providing good die life, material finish and dimension accuracy
- CUTSOL/CUTSOL HD — for general machining operations, including cutting, drilling, milling and grinding
- TRANSICUT — non-stain transparent cutting oils for high-speed automatic screw machining and simple turning
- SUPERCUT — for use in various machining operations, such as tapping, threading, broaching and conventional turning
